I get a different perspective from those in blogs/chats. They are mocking him unfortunately. Like I say...a typical smear tactic.
From his bio I just read, John Wayne was his hero. The GLBT would crucify him for just that alone;-)
It is a subtle thing, I will grant you. I just don't see it as mocking really. But, I don't know.
