It looks like Schumer beat Biden in arm wrestling last night. I cannot stand listening to him another minute after this past week of hearings.
What? Biden isn't on? I should invest in a Lottery ticket today!
Roy Blunt on this morning. That would be my choice for new leader. I thought he handled the "withdarawal vote" really well. Someone else who conducted himself well that vote was Rep. Gingrey from GA. I thought he would be good in a leadership posistion..
Thanks so much...a true Freeper you are!
Gosh, McCain and Feinstein? Schumer? Is there no one else on the national or international scene?
How about some experts on Iran? Guess they are laying low on Alito.
Their shameful behavior during the past week would have me lating low, too..
Oh my, I have to go to Mass, someone else will have to be the temporary keeper of the I's during Schumers interview.
Read this London Sunday Times review of Paul Bremer's book - Pages One, Two, Three , & Four
And compare with Russert's interview of him whether Russert is interested in his book of events in Iraq or trashing of the admn.
It 's also interesting, that while other networks are focussing their attention on the events of the day - like Alito confirmation, Iran & house republican politics, Russert's attention is elsewhere. Little hard to swallow the defeat, yes?
Look how CSPAN writes up its reairing of the Judiciary Committee hearings:

The Sunday morning shows have turned into sitcoms having the same old tired scripts. I'll pass on them onece again.
It looks like Fox is the only show with anyone of interest. Meet the Press wants to be profound today, I guess. [Marian Wright Edleman??] It could be fun to see what Arlen Specter is going to say about the hearings on This Week.
Nah, there's absolutely nothing else worth talking about this morning, nothing whatsoever going on in the world to be concerned about. We don't need no steen-king experts on Iran.
I wonder if Arlen Spector's ABC appearance will give us a clue on whether or not he's going to allow Leahy to get away with going back on his pledge not to delay the confirmation process.
I'll try to watch.
Morning AB and everyone. FNS should be interesting, it appears. Good. About time and we'll get to learn more about the Republican leadership..... (maybe) I can also hope Graham will nail Schumer, along with whoever is interviewing him.
Sure sounded like the Wellstone funeral moment for the dems.
What the heck is Anthony Hopkins going to talk about?
Wonder of wonders, the little 'gods' on a Sunday morning.
John McWhorter is always worth listening to. I wonder if he will get his own time or will have to share it with Madame Edleman?
Biden really, really needs to hide for awhile. People are sick of looking at him.
I used my mute button Schumer.
