Samuel Alito is a more qualified person for the seat that Roberts holds I think..and I think he would be as much a peacemaker..He just has that look about him that no one can ruffle his feathers..and I think the dems are finding that out and are going nuts..

Indeed. I can also see him (God forbid anything happens to Judge Roberts) becoming the Chief Justice in the future as well--the man is obviously 'super-duper' qualified, despite the libs best efforts to besmirch his good name.

What is so "bizarre" or "shocking" about the unitary executive?
Isn't that the way almost everyone-except those in Congress-viewed the war powers of the presidency from Abraham Lincoln until the middle of the Vietnam War?

The debate is academic at this point, so we'll just disagree. Not important in any event. I like both Roberts and Alito, I suspect the discussion is similiar to those that debate Scalia vs Thomas. We're just blessed to have (soon) all four.
