Use your head, man. These kids are all at school, nice kids, geeks, and gang-banger alike. What do you want the school to do? Should they make a list of which kids can bring firearms to school and which cannot?

Apply that head, and it's common sense. The Geeks and other good kids are not the problem, the gang bangers are. Everyone in the school knows which is which. Use some discretion. Give the good kids a stern warning, if you must, and report the gang bangers, who are likely illegally in possession anyway, with the school property issue not being a factor.
