You are correct about the holding back of the pent up frustration. This reminded me of when I had to be very strong after my 21 year old Sister died and two weeks later her 2 year old son died also from injuries sustained in an auto accident. I had to go back to work and I was holding up really well at work until a very kind co-worker told me with tears in her eyes how terribly sorry she was, and like Graham she was emotionally supportive and sincere and that was the hardest part. I was a basket case for the rest of the day. That stiff upper lip can only do so much for your composure when you know that your loved one has been verbally abused and you do not want to do anything to hurt their Career move. They make a very sweet loving couple and this will hurt the dirty dems big time.

I was about to say the same thing. My sister died young, and my mama said, "I can stand anything but sympathy!" Both of us are stiff-upper-lip types, and could stand any amount of abuse, but the sympathy just really got to us.

Indeed...the 'rats hosed themselves bigtime IF any of this made it to the MSM - I have no idea about that.

Seeing Chuckie in the senate's 'spin zone' being interviewed by John Gibson reminded me why these idiots remain clueless as to why they can't win a national election.

My four year old niece died and I was a rock during the funeral and all the events surrounding it in an effort to help the rest of the family.

Three days later a telemarketer called. In a kinder than usual voice, she asked "How are you doing today?" I burst into wracking sobs.

I think she thought I was nuts. I totally get Mrs. Alito.
