The depth of Alito's knowledge of the law, and ability to articulate and characterize it, was simply dazzling, and that became more and more obvious. Most dazzling of all was his discussion of the establishment clause, and how the cases drew distinctions so evanescent fine, that it left no one satisfied and everyone confused, and that it would be desirable to fashion some lines of distinction that were more sturdy and predictable.

I heard the same (as I could) today. That Alito played Home Run Derby with certain Dimbos.
And kicked major butt.
Watching the replay. Alito is both brilliant and a regular guy. I like him, a lot.
