He did and I think he deserves a nice letter from me for that. That was amazing. Specter was really angry with Kennedy.

Arlen just slammed the door on The Swimmer and left him impotent.

There went the morale of all the libs on the committee.....their great hero and icon, the venerable Teddy-boy, was reduced to a mound of evaporating blubber.

IMO, this incident is a turning point, and Specter is responsible for it. I have to hand it to the guy. This exchange is the one that will be shown tonight.....and all of Teddy's bloviating points against the judge will be lost in space.

Memo to the DC Sandwich King......don't mess with that long-time, experienced, wily old prosecutor/defense attorney, Arlen Specter.

You won't win. Plus, he holds the gavel, heheh.
