Here is what G-d says about that (I don't believe taken out of context--for all of you that wish to address this rebellion against G-d Almighty): Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Romans 1:24 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Quoting Romans on the subject is fine. But quoting Leviticus just opens up a big can of worms that will have you reversing faster than an Italian tank in WWII.

Yes, Levitican law prescribes putting to death all practicing homosexuals. It also prescribes the same punishment for adultry. BUT, Jesus countermanded much of the draconian punishment when he forgave both the woman at the well and the adulterous woman that the Pharisees brought before him.

In ignorance they will point out other laws in Leviticus which Christians do not follow (such as dietary and ceremonial laws). Its always good to use this verse and Romans because it shows the position of homosexuality in the new covenant (ie still a sin)..

But even then they will have no issue ignoring scripture..

so, the last time you sinned unintentionally, how did the folks you attend services with enjoy the young bull without blemish you brought as a sin offering?
