This photo supplied by Scholastic shows the cover of a children's book written by Sen. Ted Kennedy entitled 'My Senator and Me: A Dogs-Eye View of Washington, D.C.,' which will be released in May. It deals with Kennedy, and his co-protagonist,his Portuguese Water Dog,

My favorite part of the book is when the senator takes the dog driving, and the dog sticks his head out the window and enjoys the wind blowing through his fur, until the senator hits a small bump and there's a risk of his drink splashing, so he lurches hard to the left and SPLASH! they're in the Potomac, and then the senator is swimming away, and the dog is still stuck in the car.
Well, that was in the proofs, I wonder if they've edited that part out...
Kennedy couldn't even READ a children's book, let alone write one. Unless it's a dog's-eye look at the bars of Washington, Miami, Connecticut and Cape Cod.
