I do worry about the filibuster vote ...

I just don't see it in the cards. Alito's nomination and hearings will be used, OTOH, to create sound bites by the DEMs, as "reasons" why the Republicans must be defeated. I expect vicious rhetorical attacks, but the vote will go forward. Bark worse than bite, and similar cliches apply.

They will if they can get away with it, and I am past trusting RINOs in the Senate.

Right now, they can't get away with it. A lot can change in a short period of time.

I do feel that Alito will eventually confirmed by the senate, but I see them holding up on the vote until the decision has been made on the case regarding PBA, that the SC is hearing right now.
