We have lots of redheads in the family (I'm an olive skinned brunette myself, but I do a lot of the sewing, dressing, and hairdressing around here.)

The obvious color choice is a cool Nile green, but if I might suggest something a little off the beaten path I would say a rich dark brown that picks up whatever shade of red you have?

My daughter's an Irish redhead (creamy skin, hair auburn to light brown), and her freshman cotillion dress was a dark reddish brown tulle embroidered with reflective beads, over a brighter red (almost burgundy but browner) underskirt of satin. It looks so good she's wearing it again for her senior cotillion.

I think Dick Durbin has that same exact dress.

I'm going to invite some of you to "tea" and we'll go over my wardrobe. :)
