How would you feel if he got out and then killed someone else?
What a terrible precedent it would set if we freed criminals based on whether the victim had forgiven them--that would just encourage intimidation of victims to free the convicted.
The reason he should be free is merely that he served his sentence.

I agree. I didn't say that he should be freed. I merely commented on the supernatural connection between Agca and Pope John Paul II, along with his curious devotion to the Virgen of Fatima. While it's not unheard of for Muslims to honor the Virgin Mary, Agca's devotion seems remarkably strong.
