Earthquake registering 6.2 on Richter scale rocks Greece, felt in many parts of Israel as well as Egypt Ynet
An earthquake registering 6.2 on the Richter scale rocked Greece Sunday and was felt in many parts of Israel and Egypt as well.
Director General of the Geophysical Institute of Israel Dr. Uri Frieslander said the earthquake hit the Greek island of Crete at 1:36 p.m.
"The institute received many calls by residents who felt the quake, mainly along the coast," he said
Ynet readers from the northern city of Haifa all the way to Beer Sheva in the south reported they felt the ground tremble.
I am located in a tall building on the eighth floor, Effie Bauman of Beer Sheva said. I felt the building move; it wasnt anything major, but everything shook. I asked the neighbors, and they all said they felt it too.
Eli Karko of Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, said he was on the computer at the time of the quake when his chair, as well as his house moved.
"I stopped what I was doing, I was in shock," he said. "I went into the living room and my mother said she had also felt it. We live on the third floor. They are also writing that there's going to be another earthquake, and here it is."
Rinat from Bnei Brak also felt the tremors.
"I work on the third floor. I suddenly felt the table move and I felt dizzy, this is how I felt the last time it happened," she said.
Israel has seen a number of earthquakes this past year, the strongest of which occurred in February and registered 5.1 on the Richter scale.
God's pissed.
He's just doing what He'd said He'd do:
Matt.24:7
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mark.13:8
[8] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
Luke.21:11
[11] And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Sorry about the duplicate post ... .
1) The world is more peaceful now than it's ever been in the history of humanity.
2) Never been fewer famines worldwide than now.
3) There have been a below average number of large earthquakes worldwide for the last 6 years.
At the Greeks (since that is where the quake hit)? What did they do to Him recently?
LOL!!
Next you'll be telling me about world wide peace.
Truly ... how blind can you be. Never mind. Your answer tells me.
The world has never been completely peaceful, and never will be, but the numbers don't lie; the number of wars and the number of people killed in them have been in steady decline since World War II.
But, thankfully my ability to reason and analyze hasn't been corrupted by apocalpytikook fantasies.
No problem, I do myself. Of course it's always the keyboards fault :)
Those Biblical quotes are on target. What about the one concerning Persia in relation to Israel. The Persians (Iranians) will be assisted (and are now) by 'King of the North' (Russia. The Persians coupled with other Arab/Muslim states allied with the Russians will be defeated when they gang up and attack Israel.
If it were not for G-d's protective hand on the nation of Israel as a whole (as in 1967 & 1973) the numerically greater enemy armed forces coming against little Israel would have be victorious. In the next major & most likely nuclear and or chemical Middle-Eastern war, unfortunately there will be great loss of life in Israel, but her numerous foes will again go down to defeat .
Do to the fact of Iran's top madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's , and his repetitively insane rants attempting to verbally provoke all out war with Israel and America, due to his obsession with his cult worship of the Shi'ite Muslim Mahdi (or the 12th or Hidden Imam or The Expected One).
Iran's theocracy paves the path to Armaggedon
I would estimate between now and March Israel will be taking decisive action against threatening "nuclear" Iran. Syria, Iran's closer ally in exporting terrorism, will be confronted first along with their terrorist proxies, Hizballah, as well as Hamas in Gaza, which shall be far less difficult without the IDF having to protect Israeli towns.
It would not come as a shock if Iran has a horrifically damaging earthquake the closer they get to gaining their goal of an offensive nuclear arsenal. Some may term that as reciprocity for Tehran's 25 years worth of spreading evil resulting around the globe and currently in the murders of our servicemen serving in Iraq & in the Afghani theater, plus other members of the Coalition, and the wholesale slaughter directed against Iraqis who want a nation free of jihadists serial killers seeking the next crowd of people to butcher.
He had nothing better to do so why not an earthquake :)
Without mentioning names ... you can easily see that blindness on FR in any form you chose.
They don't seem to realize that natural disasters have been part of this planet since time immemorial and will be until the end of time. My usual response to the doomsday types is that everything Jesus said were signs of the end had been occurring long before he was on this planet and will continue until the end. In other words, the world will keep going like it always has with the usual disasters.
