If anyone has any doubt about the kind of nuclear work Iran has been doing for the past 18 years, it must be a case of naiveté compounded by gullibility. Nor should there be any uncertainty about what Iran's mullahocracy would do with a nuclear weapon.

That we hadn't launched a pre-emptive strike against Iran to this date is beyond me.
We should do so yesterday. We have the capability and the tools to do so.
So....... LET'S ROLL!!

Make no mistake about it. This is not just about Israel. Let's remember who the Little Satan and the Great Satan are.

Thanks. But what about next time?

Doesn't compute -- Iraq is where they should be if we want Iran's ass.

Doesn't compute -- Iraq is where they should be if we want Iran's ass. We're not going into Iran with ground forces; that's simply not on the table. That doesn't mean we won't slam the bejeezus out of them from the air. The Iranians won't make it another 10 years before demographics force a change in government. All we have to do is bomb them silly every time they try and build a nuclear weapon, and wait for nature to do the rest for us. It looks like that's the direction we're heading.
To that end, it's better for us to bring back ground units now, and start them on the rest, refit and retrain cycle. That'll free up resources for the air power we'll need. Unless Europe magically grows a pair, and the Russians and Chinese stop running interference, we are simply spread too thin to invade Iran. The nice thing is, we don't need to.
