Britain has the right idea..if you leak something The Foreign Office has determined to be "Secret", you will go to jail, you will not pass go, and you will most definitely, NOT collect $200.00
And if you leak "top secret" info on purpose, you need to be executed.

Rush said that this NSA leak is part of a combined plot between the Democrats in congress and senate and the media, that was laid out in the Rockefeller memo. He said that this Tice guy is not the leaker, but just the fall guy that they are using to give themselves cover. Tice is a disgruntled, fired employee, who was only too happy to take credit for the leak.

Yep. The media is the Demonrat's co-conspirator. They are disgusting traitors to this nation.
Rush says that this is all part and parcel of the Plame leak, involving all the same players, and that is the reason that they waited for a whole year to spring this one. They couldn't demand prosecution for one leak and then give a pass to another that suited their purposes. Rush also said that the whole plot was laid out in the Rockefeller memo.
"Part 3" of the memo reads as follows:
"3) Prepare to launch an independent investigation when it becomes clear we have exhausted the opportunity to usefully collaborate with the majority. We can pull the trigger on an independent investigation of the administration's use of intelligence at any time. But we can only do so once."
"Part 3" of the Rockefeller memo reads as follows:

Unfortunately for them, they are playing these games against GWB and Cheney, who are much smarter and savvy politicians than they are. They are only cutting their own throats.

What I have read, today, is that it is not inside the FISA limits, that the surveillance was done without FISA approval because it involved war time intelligence on the enemy (and their US contacts, of course). That would be classified information.
I have no doubt that this was planned whether it is the Democrats or just the Times they are one and the same.
