My hubby, a UT graduate, is ECSTATIC!! My son, who is presently attending Texas Tech gave him a UT rose bowl tee-shirt he's wearing this morn to work. He is all giddy and has a light spring in his walk this morn.. CONGRATS to the HORNS...HOOK'EM Horns!!! YEEHAWWWWW!

As a Gator fan who won it nine years ago (thanks to Texas beating Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship game), there's nothing like that feeling. College World Series and Football championship in one year, that's pretty darn good.

I am not from Texas, but was pulling for the horns big-time.

That was one of the best games I've ever watched in my life.

I don't know the temperature on the field during game time, but I am sure it was pretty warm for the players.

Even though there were a lot of yards for both teams, it was obvious that the two defenses played their hearts out.
