On January 4, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. (PST) the Rose Bowl Game will host the BCS National Championship, between USC and Texas once again showcasing the best of collegiate football in "The Granddaddy of Them All."® The Rose Bowl will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio.
Giving Pete Carroll 5 weeks to prepare a game plan is just asking for an ass whoopin'.
Now I feel like an idiot.
42 - 21
V. Young does a gag job...can't pass with the big boys...
Am I not man... I am
Dont, I bet the Chef wants to carve a bit off that prime beef.
From a Buckeye......... Go Texas!!!!
I would say this is the most anticipated college football game between 2 undefeated teams (in the sense that it's been anticipatd for a whole year) since the 1971 Oklahoma-Nebraska game. I hope this game is as good as that one was.
Another prediction, 70-21 SC!
Yep. Ignoring that USC-Texas wouldn't meet in the 1st round of an 8-team BCS bowl-based playoff, How much buzz would be taking place the next week and a half looking forward to tonight's winner hosting LSU, with Penn State hosting West Virginia in the next playoff round?
Such a simple, easy progression that would maintain all the bowls, and add 1 more to the BCS rotation.
Yes, let's pull for Texas and hope that Vince Young goes pro since we play Texas next year. LOL!
Okay, FRiends, I've been debating this all day in my head, and I still don't know who to cheer for. On the one hand, UT is a Texas school (even if nobody east of I-35 or South of I-20 consider the Llano Estacado to be part of Texas) and a Big 12 school. On the other hand, John Wayne went to USC, and UT is a haven for liberals; basically, Berkely with a Texas twang.
What to do....what to do....I wonder if that rerun of Moesha will be any good?
?why?
that was last century.
I'm talking about the 21st.....
Fowler - Texas
Mays - USC
Herbstreit - USC
Oh no, Lee Corso picked Texas! The kiss of death!
Nah, I prefer bambi tenderloins.
If I'm going with beef I'll hit a Ruth Chris Steak House.
