The generation, as a whole, cannot go away fast enough for me.

Hey! Some of us are conservative Freepers.
I'd guess that the majority of Freepers are Boomers.
Now, now; don't argue with Generation Know-It-All.
The very negative attitude of some in the post-boomer generations is amazing. How sad not to acknowledge that many did not join in with all the drugs, anti-war, hippie etc crap. My husband served in Vietnam and earned a Purple Heart and other honors, we both avoided the whole '70's scenario on campus and off as well. Like many others, we've lived charitable, productive lives. Some of us boomers have always been at odds with the vocal members of our generation who seem to symbolize us all.
