Sheikh Ra'ad Salah, leader of the Islamic Movement's northern faction, had said at a press conference earlier Tuesday that al-Aksa Mosque was in danger, and declared that if archeological excavations in the vicinity of the Western Wall tunnels were to continue, Israel "would find itself at war with the entire Muslim world."
It sounds to me like he is trying to provoke such a war using the same lie ("al-Aqsa is in danger") that Haj Amin al-Husseini used to spark the conflict between the Jews and Arabs of Palestine 85 years ago. It worked then...

"would find itself at war with the entire Muslim world." As far as I can tell it pretty much is already. At least the Arab and Iranian part of the Muslim world.

It is to Israel's eternal shame that the Temple Mount is in the hands of the filthy Muslim Wakf, who have been destroying all underground evidence of the Temple for decades. In June 1967 both mosques should have been torn down, and the artifical presence of Islam in Jersualem removed completely. What the hell is wrong with Israelis?

OK, someone explain to me how Iran is going to nuke Israel without damaging this site sacred to Islam? As I see it, Israel is about the size of my metro area (Kansas City) and Iran is only about 1000 miles away. That's sort of like if our town bombed Chicago and hoped that the wind would blow away all the radiation into Detroit.

I wonder how one would build an underground building without so much as digging a hole, or moving a building over the spot. Invisible bulldozers that can drive right through Mosque walls and Concrete delivery trucks you can fit in your lunch box? All this must be done by remote control as Jews are not even allowed up there.
These guys take some powerful bad drugs in those Mosques. They see secret Jewish plots everywhere, even in the dirt under their feet. When hate gets so bad you hallucinate, normally they lock you in a rubber room. Muslims call you Imam and worship your rantings.

Why does Israel even bother denying this insane nonsense? Are the Israelis next going to deny that they control Arab minds with microwaves?

You mean it hasn't been from the instant it was reborn?
At the press conference, Salah screened a video that supposedly showed Jews praying at the illicit synagogue.
Ah yes . . . if the synagogue is "illicit" it must be Israel!
Don't be a "wall nut!" Rebuild the Temple!!!

Whether its the Temple of Solomon or Hagia Sophia, the Muslims are adpet at co-opting other people's sacred sites and figures as their own.
The site of the Temple of Solomon belongs to the Jewish people. It should be rebuilt and the Al Aqsa obscenity removed.

Strange... when Muslims blow-up a synagogue or machine-gun Jewish kids on the way to temple, the world doesn't seem to care, but let one Muslim scream some lie and Israel is roundly condemned...

Sounds like the stupid dome is about to fall because of islamic digging. So of course blame the Jews for their own stupidity and perhaps finally get the islamic world mad enough to once again go after Israel, the silver lining(in their twisted minds).

If a synagogue will be built there, it will be built where desolate, pagan rubble once stood--not under it.
