Jackson looked like a fool trying to explain why he wasn't "offended" and outspoken until after the fact.

Jackson is a jerk, always has been, always will be.

I never, ever liked him or any of his opinions, he is the master of screwing up the obvious (and we're talking just football).

Berman and Rush, both still talk to each other and, according to both of them, still friends.

I remember hearing Rush say something about how he got the job at ESPN, from a friend.

I don't think it was a set-up, but, and I'm trying to remember this exactly, someone high up at ESPN is friends with Rush and plays golf with him (not sure who), and they offered him the role for ESPN.

From what I understand, befor Limbaugh became a political pundit, he had a background in sports, and football is the other main love of his life (PFW, FD, and SI, along with several other publications, he is subscribed to).

His friend thought he would be a good fit, since he knows the game well.

By the way, did you notice how the media talked about McNabbs recent issue with the NAACP race huckster in philly but left out the guy who broke the story and talked about it first.....it was Rush Limbaugh.

true, they've not both been together as long as his schtick has beein going on. I if I had to deal with that schtick for as long as Jackson has, I'd be putting resumes out, maybe try and get on with Fox Sports, or something like that.

as someone who tried to be a sportscaster and failed, I can tell you its not as easy as it looks.

Bugs Bunny says it.

I don't recall that. I do recall the Black kid on the Bowery Boys using it.
