651 post with nothing to show for it.

Right.

And Sandy Berger is probably playing tennis in the warm weather somewhere.......... Jayna Davis' information on OKC has been shut down completely, the JD won't even accept it............... Able Danger goes nowhere............. etc., etc., etc.

It's ugly out there.

There are no more MEN in our government. This Republic is going down the drain and fast.

"...gets better and better. You know, if Congress had one ounce of integrity they'd have instigated an investigation into their own immediately. Since they have none, it falls to the FBI and DOJ."

Betcha there are many congressmen on both sides of the aisle fearing exposure from an opening can of worms.
I have no doubt that Hillary Clinton holds some blackmail cards from Filegate days.

Support term limits! Get rid of career politicians like Kennedy and Kerry.

You might want to loosen those rivets too..(wink) Sounds like a good novel though.

Okay, I'll bite. Insert wink here. But I think there are folks out there that have a LOT of money. Folks who wear tablecloths on their heads. Hell I think Saddam's weapons of mass destruction were billions of dollar bills. Money can buy anyone.

I think these tablecloth wearing moneyed sons of camels do not want their people democratized else, hey I suspect they might vote out those Saudi (oops...did I say that?) pack of thieves who have no more right to that country's oil money than you or I, out of power. There is also out there a bunch of people that I believe were involved in Saddam's oil for food scam. I recall Bill Clinton envisioning himself as Sec-Gen of the U.N. with his loyal lovely wife as President of the mightiest nation on the planet. Lots of possibilities here. Control of practically all the world's money as I see it.

Money....heh, it's powerful stuff. Lessee, we've got Saddam's oil for palaces with a lot of money to throw around, we've got Saudi sons of camels and Irananian Mullahs who control that nation's money, we've got two people who want to run the world, complete with crowns, add to that a bunch of congress critters needing re-election and promised, who knows, precious positions in the new world administration. Lord Biden probably fancies himself as a perfect Dept of Def head for the planet earth.

If I'm crafting a plot for a novel then give me no credit. I am merely putting two and two together based on real life events.

Then the sheriff comes to town and the sheriff is the enemy. Thus they must do everything they can to keep him from being elected, including packing the ballot boxes with the dead. Once the idiot American people elect despite even pleas from foreign countries...us nitwits, they must then discredit him.

As events keep going positive in Iraq, the sons of camels with control of the money grow more panicked. They must now do everything in their power to totally destroy those programs the sheriff enacted to make it all go away. Follow the money. They use their money to buy the FISA judges, congress critters and media- what with Lamestream Media dying a little more every day and needing an infusion of cash- they finance left wing web sites and left wing radio shows that would flounder and die immediately (witness Air America), not to mention blackmailing a congressional thug or two who was himself involved with shenanigans during King and Queen Clinton's term...such as John Murtha.

These people are fighting for their lives here, the very fabric of their life. What would Lord Biden be if not a Senator? Selling used cars maybe? What have the Saudis sons of camels done for their country? Besides raise a generation of total nut cases that they will see the real problem is Israel and not in their own back yard via a clan of thugs who vacation on the Riviera as their women cannot drive and their youth are unemployed?

Okay...I've gone on enough. Because I'm beyond that left wing idealology thing. It's not about idealology in my mind.

It's about following the money. A methodology that has worked well throughout history.

"Investigation will hopefully be followed by thorough and rigorous prosecution. There need to be consequences for these actions."

Right! Just like the rigorous prosecution of Sandy Burgler when all those papers LEAKED out of his pants. < /sarcasm off>

70% of those polled recently said they supported the wiretaps and more than 60% said they would vote against any candidate who was soft on the war. The MSM is not winning this one. The things you are talking about except ANWR are not even crumbs on the public plate now. Economic polling data indicated an all time consumer confidence high going into 2006. They don't win everything and truth eventually squashes them.

Norah O'Donnell's eyeballs have almost popped out of her over made-up face the past nights in her zeal to get Bush. I used to think the cutie was ok, now she's just another spittin, sickening, brain-dead liberal sycophant.

This is more of a power struggle between the minority senator leadership, courts and the executive branch. The Senate and the courts have been overstepping the grounds for about 30 years. After Watergate they have slowly been stripping the elected President's ability to run foreign policy. War Powers Act. FISA courts and now battleground detainees. If my Constitution info is correct it's the Executive branch that is allowed to carry out war and the Legislative branch to fund it. My philosophy has always been if the Legislative branch doesn't like the war then they need to cut its funding. I haven't looked lately at who has voted and not voted for funding but it would be interesting to see if any of the loud minority leaders have been saying one thing but still continuing the funding. You can't have it both ways. I support the Executive branch's policy on this subject and consider anyone hampering working against the war effort and possibly knowingly aiding and abetting the enemy. This has nothing to with civil rights if the administration wasn't tapping for personal gain. If it clear that it was to protect the country there's nothing to say.

" Senator Rockefellar seems to be hiding right now and I wonder why? "

If we see Rockefeller in a Vanity Fair spread wearing sunglasses and a scarf on his head, being driven around by Judge Robertson in a convertible- we'll know he's at ground zero .
Now that someone has taken the decaf out of the coffee pots at Justice-is it too much to ask that they investigate all the other leaks of classified information that has been occuring since President Bush took office-especially the last year ?
Alberto Gonzales will make or break his reputation by how vigorously he pursues this egregious breach of national security.
