We Americans forget that Canada is not the leftist BS spewed by the Liberals any more than the US was what the democrats were spewing when they held power.
Go Tories!

Read this one earlier:
The very notion of the red Star - the long-time de facto voice of the Liberal Party of Canada until siding with Chretien against Martin - even entertaining the possibility of the msn's liberal bias, will have me outside tonight checking to see how many moons are in the sky - LOL!
Our American friends should consider this akin to same appearing in the New York Slimes!
Thankfully, Harper can continue taking the high road as long as his enemies keep knifing each other!

Harper gains in Canadian poll, but Liberals lead
Wed Dec 28, 2005 3:18 PM EST
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Reuters) - Canadians are warming to Conservative leader Stephen Harper but his party still trails Prime Minister Paul Martin's Liberals, according to a tracking poll released on Wednesday.
The Liberals have the support of 38 percent of decided voters, compared with the Conservatives at 31 percent. The New Democratic Party has 15 percent support, with 5 percent for the Green Party, according to the SES/CPAC survey.
The Bloc Quebecois, which runs candidates only in Quebec, has the support of 51 percent of decided voters in that province, which is calculated at 12 percent support on a national basis, according to the survey.
Nationally, 18 percent of voters remain undecided about which party they will support in the January 23 election, including 21 percent in Quebec.
The survey found 25 percent felt Harper would be the best prime minister, his highest rating since the election campaign began and only 3 percentage points behind Martin.
The poll surveyed 1,200 people Dec 21-23, and has a margin of error of 2.9 percentage points.
The campaign slowly returned to life on Wednesday after a Christmas holiday break, with Harper campaigning in British Columbia and Martin in Montreal.

"........we want Americans to know the truth about what is going on up here and that there is a strong Conservative movement that is commited to kicking these liberal morons out. It is sad some have forgotten the Clinton legacy so soon. Believe me, when we were reading about "blow jobs" in the oval office, many up here were questioning America's moral fibre."
You want to bring up our Clinton "legacy"? I'd gladly let you have him and all his buddies, except that I live right next door (Montana) , I've got a bunch of relatives and good friends in Canada, and I wouldn't want to inflict Slick on my worst enemy.
(sigh) Guess we just have to wear our bunch of sackcloth & ashes. I'll let you figure out what you want to do with YOURS, only I won't remind you of it. (He said, striking a noble pose........)
As far as the election is concerned, you've certainly got all my best wishes. Along with that, IMHO if the Canadian MSM is as totally out of touch with reality as the bunch we've got "down South" (as this thread certainly seems to indicate), you may very well be on the verge of more success than anyone has anticipated.
Good luck. :-D

Good catch GMMAC!
