[history]
China will never go down, and don't think you can banish communism. Because the people won't let it. They know they are the last standing, they are the only ones left. America is in a decline while China's climaxing, America will go down. We are just done with our prime, if anything, we were going into a depression since 1992 (and don't say you don't know that year). Communism is the American's medias' worst nightmare, because of censorship. I hope we all have to read one newspaper and wipe my butt with one brand of tiolet paper. I hope we all die for our next generations to wear the red armband. We deserved 9/11, and they enjoyed it. You probably hate me now, I know, you just still think like its 1945, well too bad its 2005. We only stand to fall.

"But you can find almost anything you want here."
I'm looking for "parlors" and hot chicks, as many as I can get my hands on. Are there such a things in Vegas? :)
All the best in your new residence.

Hobbes, I'm sure, would feel very at home here. We almost had a historical record high temperature of 60 degrees. Had to sleep in the porch, for cryin' out loud loudly.

You can tell when it's summer in Alaska - the snow is wetter.

Actually, folks in the desert get "discounts" when they have "desert landscapes"...gravel, cactus and other desert plants...otherwise known as "low maintenance" yards.
The water for the rest of us is really not too bad. I pay $17 a month for mine.
When we lived in Puget Sound, the rainfall was 100" a year. From the sublime to the ridiculous!

I just know there is nothing in either place for me. I don't gamble, so there's really no reason to go there. I can all the stuff I need in the strip malls.

Sometimes we get wet snow that clings like that. My favorite, though, to look at not drive in, is the morning after an ice storm...the trees are coated with ice and glisten in the early sun....just spectacular to look at. Thanks for sharing.

Nah. I was military wife for too long. I can pack in a week and unpack in three days.
It's like sex and riding a bicycle ~~ once you know how, you never forget. (So I'm told...)

Welcome, Star!
I'm slightly invisible for a while, since my time on here is limited by where I am. But by Tuesday, I should be back to "normal." Well, back home, anyway!

Yep...moving again. But it was decided in October. I just didn't say anything. It's coming home...I mean, I've lived here longer than I've lived anywhere else. It's changed, but that's OK. I can handle it.

Las Vegas has parlors and chicks and even chicks that aren't, really. And they have everything else you can think of, too.

Hobbes is not a social kitty, yet. Not completely, anyway. She has improved since Calvin came to stay. Not nearly as high-strung.

I actually know when summer comes to Alaska...the mosquitos have saddles, and the fruits and vegetables grow so fast you can here them.
