[history]
China will never go down, and don't think you can banish communism. Because the people won't let it. They know they are the last standing, they are the only ones left. America is in a decline while China's climaxing, America will go down. We are just done with our prime, if anything, we were going into a depression since 1992 (and don't say you don't know that year). Communism is the American's medias' worst nightmare, because of censorship. I hope we all have to read one newspaper and wipe my butt with one brand of tiolet paper. I hope we all die for our next generations to wear the red armband. We deserved 9/11, and they enjoyed it. You probably hate me now, I know, you just still think like its 1945, well too bad its 2005. We only stand to fall.

Glad you're doing well, Face.
See you later.

Ooh, a New England winter.
That must be harsh.
Good luck on the move, MF!
Beware of drivers observing Ramadan.
I hear they can be very erratic.

A New England winter often includes NY and was worse last year than Anchorage's was.

Yeah, the tail-end of the No'easters that hit this place occasionally can be pretty nasty.
There are actually guidelines put out by the OEM in this city that tell you what to do in case any major natural disaster hits, although I'm sure that 90% of the people here have never bothered checking them out.

Sorry about the delay. I left the computer to get my hair done, and it took all afternoon...
Las Vegas is the one place I've lived longer than any other, so it's "home" to me. Tucson is actually wetter than Vegas...Vegas has 3" a year and Tucson has 12" of "wet." Tucson also has monsoons during July and August, every day during that time, and it's just too much for me.
I don't gamble so Vegas has no allure for me that way. But I know the "town" much better than I know Tucson. And my daughter still lives here, so she is also an "attraction."
(I'm also a native Nevadan!)
The high desert IS a place of extremes, but I like the 115 degree heat in the summer. :o]

Vegas is just a place to live, to me. I never go anyplace at night unless someone else is driving, and I've never been a gambler. But you can find almost anything you want here.

Yah...we were at 4800 in Payson, and lived right at the mouth of Payson Canyon, so I know how chilly it can get! However, when I was 24, we had an early, BAD winter, and everywhere I went, I fell. I decided it was not how I wanted to spend any more winters. :o]

There wasn't much I could do about Hobbes, but wait for the sun to warm things a little so I could open the vents. :o|

Surprisingly enough, a lot of long-timers don't
still don't know how to deal with snow around here.
Near the ocean, we get weird stuff that you probably won't see.

redhead moved to Alaska in August, and she says the little snow they had has melted. Oh. Wait. Maybe I'm not supposed to tell anyone...*ducking and running VERY fast!*

I avoid downtown and The Strip like a plague. I had to work downtown, and it was not a fun place to be, even in broad daylight.
