Information received by the organization will be made public on its Web site.

Not to worry, they can black out anything that is deemed classified. All the ACLU would get is 10,000 pages of solid black with an occasional "the" and "a" not clacked out. Sent across an old fax machine page by page too, probably take 10 weeks to fax them all.
Too bad their HQ wasn't in the WTC....ok, ok, not nice, but these guys are nothing more than parasites in my book....

Hey! The ACLU is/are the terrorists. This demand should wind up on the campuses of the FBI and the CIA - the ACLU has NO RIGHT to jeopardize the country. The Department of Justice should step in at this point.
The Supreme Court has already ruled that intelligence gathering must consist of at least 1 party outside the US without a warrant which is what happened in this case.

As such I think it's time we have a "McCarthyism redux", only this time going after the ACLU. With full blown Senate hearings like the Army hearings Tail-gunner Joe held. The lead question should be:
"Are you now, or where you ever a member of the ACLU"Anyone who answers yes if found guilty of treason and gets the Death Penalty. Those who take the 5th get immediate immunity and if they still refuse to answer get Life in an Alaskan Gulag.
Naturally the House steps to the plate too by re-instituting HUAC and the defendants (ACLU Lawyers) could be dragged back and forth between both chambers of Congress while trussed in shackles like Hannibal Lechter.
And any demoncRAT pol who opens his-her pie hole about the 'rights' of the ACLU gets charged with aiding and abetting Treason and Sedition and are summarily executed on the spot - after a short trail (gotta keep it legal).
