Acquitted of murder two years ago but convicted on lesser charges related to the same crime, millionaire Robert Durst has again been arrested, this time because he violated his parole terms by leaving Harris County (TX) and appearing in Galveston County (TX) on 12-16-05 on the property of one of his criminal trial witnesses.

Durst is getting the blood lust again. He will absolutely kill again, 100%, once he is out of incarceration. He loves to murder, and loves getting away with homicide.

The buzz is his billionaire family members are going ballistic----fearing for their lives.

I also wonder about the women who was his "missing" wife's friend---she was all over the TV trying to get Durst investigated for murdering the girl.

She must be paranoid.

Memo to Durst family and any witnesses:

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I hope you didn't mean Susan Berman, because she's dead. There was someone named Strauss and maybe another.

His (late) first wife's brother, too - named McCormick.

{ billionaire family members are going ballistic----fearing for their lives.}

Do you think we should take up a collection to help these fearful billionaires hire a security force? After all, it is Christmas.

Don't invite him to any parties where there may be coolers.

The somewhat youngish, seemingly gullible, parole attorney for Durst was just on-camera and said that this is all a misunderstanding and that Robert was just "looking for a new apartment" because his current apartment lease will be up soon.

Uh-huh. On the front lawn of a witness who testified against him in a murder trial? Gee, what are the odds?

(Keep in mind that Durst has bought up safe houses all over the US in the past few years.)

There is a vast difference between murder and killing.

No, I didn't mean Berman------she was found shot in California, after Durst's wife went missing.

The buzz is that Berman was the one who pretended to be Durst's wife, who made a phone call to coverup Kathie's absence from school, which backed-up Durst's version of events.

I meant Kathie's friend----Gilberte Najamy----who said she was told by Kathie Durst, "If something happens to me promise you'll check it out. I'm afraid of what Bobby might do."

Yeah, like I'm worried about them (/sarc).

All kidding aside----betcha the Dursts' have 24/7 bodyguards.

Apparently, some of the family members talked with police even though the father---Seymour---refused to help when called on by Kathie's family, after she went missing.

Aaaggh, I had to "review" as these details are fuzzy. I didn't follow it all really closely, because it was local and I could just watch the nightly news during the trial.

The attorney tonight was Chip Lewis, who had been one of the trial attorneys in Galveston, too. I didn't remember him, just Deguerin (the "UE" one) and Mike Ramsey.

Yes, the names and addresses and unlisted phone numbers for Gilberte Najamy and for Doug Durst, the brother who is the head of the family RE empire, were in a notebook next to the notation "Dead Dead" which Robert Durst had kept in his personal handwriting while on the lam from the Black murder. That wasn't allowed into evidence because it was "personal" writings.

He had talked non-stop on the jail phone in PA about his "chores" - LE thought that meant killings - and the #1 was brother Doug. RD even went to DD's house and then "screwed it up," RD himself said.

There were evidently also notations about brother Thomas Durst in San Francisco. Others who are fearful (or were 2 years ago--no need to be less so now!) or "should be" are Kathie Durst's brother Jim McCormack; another of her friends, Ellen Strauss; and Durst's current wife who "knows too much," Debrah Lee Charatan.

Najamy is currently a consultant to a women's shelter in Fairfield County, CT, which she got the group to name "Kathie's Place" in remembrance of her friend Kathie Durst.

And it's still possible that RD could be let out in a few weeks, free to roam and plan his "chores" still!

The utter stupidity of the Durst jury is paramount here. Although prosecutors thought they had a slam-dunk case against Durst----his confession----so they may not have presented enough evidence (not blaming them---just an observation).

The case was so cut and dry----Durst admitted to killing the guy. Any idiot would have locked him up for life---any idiot but the Galveston jury, that is.

The brain-dead jury never thought of his potential to kill again, eh? And they said the OJ jury was dumb. Galveston jury takes the cake---dumb, dumber, dumbest.

I understand local papers noted that after the verdict, at least one of the jurors visited Durst in jail numerous times, and that the juror experienced an unexpected real estate windfall. But of course nothing ever came of it. The MSM has other, more important things to do.

The District Judge on the case was anoyed with the not-guilty verdict. So she put a $3 billion dollar (she actually said Billion with a "B") bond on him for bail-jumping and evidence-tampering charges. She did her best to keep him in jail. But, alas, Durst's high-priced defense had her removed and got his bond reduced.

Yeah, it was originally $2 Billion with a B and she upped it to $3 Billion with a B. I do remember when she said the "B" each time, lol. "Unconstitutional!"

The guy I wondered about (besides wondering about that whole blasted jury) was the LEO who answered on the stand "No" when asked on cross by the Def if there was anything he saw that would rule OUT self-defense. Would love to know if HE has experienced a windfall in the last couple of years, too!

You said:

How wonder how much max jail time he can get for parole violation?

It depends on who the Judge will be. It probably will NOT be Judge Susan Criss, Galveston County. The bond she set for Durst of $3 Billion (with a "b") got tossed out. She's said a number of times that he is a flight risk.

If it were up to HER, he'd get the maximum, believe me.
