Well, if the left is upset by this and quits reading the NYT and we know that the right has already quit reading it, perhaps the NYT will go belly up soon?

E&P is considered "leftist". I wonder why they have to tout Bunch's "Attytood"?
My off-the-top-of-my-head guess is that the LSM was already reeling from Blather/Mapes-gate, Osama had just said he
could work with John Kerry, and to reveal that Bush actually took steps to protect American lives would have reminded
those that still value their own lives, their families' lives, and America's future, that a Democrat president wouldn't.

They published the story because the DNC told them to publish it. IMHO, of course.

Question for Mr. Bunch: Who leaked sensitive info. during the last election with the intent of influencing that election?
To: Echo Talon
Yes, curious that the newspapers and talking heads are not screaming for that source of classified information to be exposed to the public...
Oh, I forgot; it is probably a friend of theirs.

From the newsroom of CA Senator Boxer:
Boxer Asks Presidential Scholars About Former White House Counsel's Statement that Bush Admitted to an 'Impeachable Offense'
Excerpt:
Washington, D.C. U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) today asked four presidential scholars for their opinion on former White House Counsel John Deans statement that President Bush admitted to an impeachable offense when he said he authorized the National Security Agency to spy on Americans without getting a warrant from a judge.
Boxer said, I take very seriously Mr. Deans comments, as I view him to be an expert on Presidential abuse of power. I am expecting a full airing of this matter by the Senate in the very near future.
So, I guess the senate will investigate. In the meantime, others -- including people in NY -- are probably more interested in seeing the end of the transit strike.

They're just blowing smoke up all our a's...nothing will come of this but their lies.
They've been successful getting the wonderful election in Iraq off the front page.
