That was my concern also....Did he ever REALLY send the letter or is this just his "personal diary".

The only reason I can see him doing this is that SOMEONE has something on him.....

Seeing that it relates to Cheney...it reminds me of the "Cheney sent Wilson to Niger" thing.

So one would suspect that Cheney never got the letter.....because it was never sent.

Since I see no VITAL information in the letter itself.....and if it was so important and/or urgent, one would think it would say CC to everyone who was at that meeting and he wouldn't HOLD the letter for 2 1/2 years.

And he never brought the issue up at a subsequent meeting??????

I suppose Rockefeller was too petrified to use a typewriter to write this note. ;-)

Possibilities:

1) He never sent the letter.

2) He Just wrote it a few days ago.

3) He sent it, but made no effort to make sure it got special notice. If this last scenario is accurate, it was plotted 2-3 years in advance.

Any could be true.

What is key, though, is that Roberts states Rockefeller praised the program only two weeks ago. That nukes the letter, real, plotted or imagined.
