I have to admit, most black folks seem to be on the other side of the political fence. I just started a new job where the vast majority of employees are black. They are wonderful and friendly and technically sharp. They are fun to be around. They are professional and hip and savvy. And then the subject of President Bush came up.

I couldn't believe it. I was drowned in a flurry of bitter invectives about the hated Bush, that Bush only went to Iraq to enrich his Enron buddies, that Bush is personally keeping bin Laden in a lavish apartment somewhere in the US, that bin Laden really wasn't to blame for 9/11 but rather the evil imperialist Bushistas, we had it coming, that Bush has bankrupted America and lied and deceived and perpetrated all sorts of evil, and yes, of course Bush doesn't care about black people. I even got an earful about the NSA eavesdropping story, "I guess now you know how we felt all along", as if the NSA has been secretly eavesdropping on black folks forever. I was stunned at the total belief in all the moonbat happy horsesh*t.
