What's this?
Baby monitors give you a lot of intelligence
My ex next door neighbor heard my whole telephone conversation on her baby monitor. I happened to be talking about her. LOL..needless to say, neighbor cancel!
bumpin' up...
zzzz.....
Echelon is like the SR71.
Still potent, but everyone knows.
Not quite everyone. I never heard about it until today.
Do you think this deserves a thread of it's own? Do a google on this order and you see that Bush amended it to account for the new intelligence structure.
This is really good.
Oh my my ping
Drudge all over this right now on the air in the east.
Thanks. I just turned it on.
The 'computer' scans intl traffic for keywords, in ways very similar to google and virus detection software.
They do not have androids with cables attached to their necks listening in on all phone calls simultaneously.
This is a tool (the computer) being put to a good use sifting for keywords and patterns to be used to protect life.
Some home PC users have higher powered systems than Echelon.
Those that jump to the microphone and announce how illegal this is, must have much to hide. First one to the mike is the guiltiest. ( I see it was apparently...Pelosi.)
Pegged my B.S. meter. How can every square inch be covered, my cell phone has so many holes where NOTHING gets through, how can Eschelon?
Hey Peach .. check out post #29
ping
You are quite correct. The term 'everyone' disqualifies my argument right off the bat.
There were threads on Echelon about 2 years ago.
I believe that PBS had a special on it as well.
That narrows it down to about 2% of the population (and I'm being generous).
Only those of us who are paranoid and geeky had the time and persistence to read through the teck-stuff.
That means it was me and 11 other people.
So, I can see how ya mighta missed it.
bump for important read
Thanks. LOL. I'm still cutting my teeth here, a little over a year.
FYI re No Such Agency.
bttt
My, my is right...very interesting.
This next week ought to be much more interesting than a week before Christmas ususally is.. LOL
That is why I've taken to calling them "Brokeback Republicans"!
Because so few of them has a spine, and the majority are content to sit around and eat pudding with the DemonRATs!
Yes, and also Carnivore which "sniffed" emails for keywords.
You got it, exactly. Somewhere in Australia there's an Echelon post reading this, determining whether we are or are not evil-doers.
