Will do Wolfie I normally do a recap of weekend events on a Monday unless it is a very heavy day for photos in case people cannot get on the dose at weekends.

I personally agree with you on the content tomorrow. From what I understand the speech is being billed as being given after 4 speeches on Iraq; in other words a sum of what he has said in other venues which hopefully this time more of the American people will actually hear. Are the MSM carrying it live?

We had the same thing in the UK when Ken Clark was Chancellor of the Exchequer his wife looked much older than him and we always had snipes of "Ken has brought his mother along"

Oh .. guess you missed it:
. let's see .. how about a Christmassy picture of Pres. and Laura Bush alone .. is there one of them in front of a WH Christmas tree? Now that would be nice .. on a BIG Plasma TV. If there's none of them alone .. then a Christmassy picture of him ..and thanks, when you have time.

I'm glad he's angry...he needs to be angry. He has done nothing but protect this country from dangers within and abroad and gets nothing but critisizm for his efforts. Pray for him!!!!!

I do not drive but Ashford town centre is within walking distance for me as is ASDA (Walmart) and the Designer Outlet. So I always walk to town and a friend of dad's picks me and the shopping up.
Ashford town Centre today
I think the angel in lights is rather pretty
Woolworths - wonderful for sweets (candy) and chocolates plus of course household items and DVDs/CDs etc

I use the train if I go to London but locally I can walk or buss. Traffic was not too bad but there were a lot of people about so queues everywhere especially Woolworth's.

I really appreciate your commentary this afternoon, Wolfstar. And I have enjoyed reading the above comments of everyone else too. Aren't we fortunate to have Free Republic.

In Britain we really have to vote on party line because we vote for our local MP not for a Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is the person who is the leader of the Parliamentary Party that wins the most seats.

I would either vote third party or not vote for president that year. I would never vote for any modern Democrat I can't imagine that I would ever pass on a vote for President. I might hold my nose when I voted, but there is probably a difference between the candidates.
I doubt either of these men would be nominated, but if I had to choose between McCain and Lieberman, I'd pick Lieberman. (Of course, I'll be working and praying that I don't have to make that choice!)
