I really don't think you're talking about the same movie
If you say so.
Perhaps someone doctored the CD...because my children and I were very surprised at the vulgarity.
Every body talking about how they miss their mom's and dad's and all the great, wonderful memories from America during the 30's - 50's.
You keep saying "CD" was this an audio version? That's NOT the movie. Was it a DVD? Does it say it is some kind of a 'special' version?
There is absolutely no actual vulgarity in the movie. This movie has been airing on regular network TV for YEARS, long before there was any of the loosinging of vulgarity rules there is now.
There is 'faked' indecipherable cussing when dad gets mad at the furnace, and when the kids fight... But NO actual cussing. When Ralphie does say "Fudge" he says fudge on the screen, it's not dubbed or anything, and the voice over says 'but it wasn't fudge'. And as for redemption... he gets in trouble for it. What more do you want?
Ohfercryingoutloud. Quit while you're behind.
