The information vanished recently from the hotel-casino's computer database, and it is currently unknown whether it was an inside job or the work of an outside hacker. The Atlantis Hotel-Casino's managers have informed affected customers in writing. In addition, they will provide all 55,000 customers with a year of credit monitoring, free of charge. I remember that Sheik Rahman had the GWB on his list. Not sure about Hamza though.
Strange that it hadn't dawned on me until today that the initials of the bridge and the president are the same.
I can be slooooow at times. LOL
Fighters Deploy:
Coinciding with increased tensions with Iran over the resumption of illicit uranium enrichment, the U.S. Air Force has dispatched additional warplanes to the region in a not-so-subtle sign, military sources say.
An entire wing of F-16s, the Air National Guard's 122nd Fighter Wing based in Fort Wayne, Ind., left for a base in southwest Asia on Tuesday. A wing is usually about 72 aircraft and several hundred support personnel.
F-16s and support personnel from the 4th Fighter Squadron of the 388th Fighter Wing based at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, also deployed recently to Iraq. The squadron has 12 F-16s. Both units' F-16s could be used in any military operation to take out Iranian nuclear facilities. A spokesman for the U.S. Central Command Air Forces, which runs air operations in the region, said the F-16 deployment of about 80 jets is part of a rotation and is not related to Iran's uranium reprocessing.
Agents Make Huge Heroin Bust in Calif. (1/13/06)
INDIO, Calif. (AP) -- Authorities seized 31 pounds of Mexican heroin in the Southern California desert in a bust one official said was so big it looked like something out of a movie.
Agents estimated the heroin's street value at $1.3 million. It was enough for 140,000 to 280,000 doses, said Stephen Azzam, an agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
"In 34 years, I've never seen this large of a heroin seizure," Riverside County Assistant Sheriff John Boyd said Thursday after the bust was announced.

Gee, who would have guessed that would happen? /sarc
Thanks WCG....that is exactly why I always post everything that is happening in Gaza. Seems that now that the Pali's have the land that they claimed would help in the peace process..blah..blah...lie...lie...lie. They are doing exactly what we would have expected them to do...commence with their murderous ambitions. But the MSM is, of course, not saying a peep about this.
Indio is a hotbed of illegals and a large mexican community in the So Cal desert area near Palm Springs [about 20 miles]
The desert used to be the playground of the rich and famous and Presidents. It still is to some extent with a LOT of million plus dollar houses. However, all these homes are now behind guards and gates and fences. We are locking ourselves in with those fences instead of fencing the border!!

I have friends living in San Diego who have been telling me this same thing. Just sickening.
Could be a drill.
I think I remember reading about one coming up.

Today's Drill to Test Hospital Security
National Naval Medical Center staff and the hospital's Auxiliary Security Force will hold a drill today to test Force Protection Delta lock down procedures.
Selected staff members will secure Bethesda's 74 doors and security force personnel will guard the base.
"Because we are a major medical facility, we are always susceptible to vulnerability," said LCDR Chris Gillette, command emergency manager. "The only way people are going to know what to do in a real life situation is through practice and repetition."
The drill will mark the first time the hospital's newly augmented Auxiliary Security Force will participate, Gillette said. The force consists of 68 military personnel from the National Naval Medical Center and tenant commands.

Can't be. Google says that that address:
Renaissance Mayflower Hotel located at 1127

local news websites not reporting anything whatsoever.
And IPN has posted no follow-ups, as it often does, so I guess it was just a gas leak or something.
Amen! Hangings, beheadings, stonings and IEDs exploding to enforce the belief - belies the religion of supposed peace.
Aha! Found something...Nausia & Vomiting among hotel guests:

Snip: The leader of a large Shiite mosque in Queens has joined the new Iranian president in disputing the Holocaust, saying the Nazi massacre of an estimated 6 million Jews during World War II "has been exaggerated."
"The numbers which have been mentioned are too much," the spiritual leader of the Imam Al Khoei Islamic Center in Jamaica, Sheik Fadhel al Sahlani, told The New York Sun. Sheik al Sahlani, who said his mosque has a membership of about 3,000, said that the killing of innocent Jews during the war was "an injustice" but that the extent of Nazi persecution needed further examination. "The numbers, the reasons, we have to study more," he said.
Scandal in Oregon - University lacking Islamic studies
Snip: In the midst of national scandals, a local scandal has gone on long enough and demands immediate investigation. An independent commission should be impaneled by the governor to investigate why degree programs in Islamic and Middle Eastern studies do not exist at the University. What forces led to the inclusion of Judaic studies while excluding Islamic studies? Why is it that Judaism, the religion of roughly 15 million people worldwide, is studied, while Islam, the religion of 1.2 billion people, is ignored? Imagine the protestation if the case were reversed.
Hamza: Killing unbelievers okay
Snip: Alleged race hate cleric Abu Hamza preached that killing non-Muslims was justified even if there was no reason for it, an Old Bailey jury heard today. "Killing an adulterer, even if he is a Muslin is OK. Killing a Kaffir (unbeliever) who is fighting you is OK. Killing a Kaffir for any reason you can say it is OK even if there is no reason for it," he told an audience. In it he says Islamic beliefs should be spread with the help of the sword. "Dawa propagation of Islam through word and action) needs a sword next to it and also needs effort."
He says that those selling alcohol should be persuaded to come to the mosque. "Make sure that the person who gave him the licence for that wine shop doesn't exist anymore on the Earth. Finish him up. Give him Dawa.
Haza: urged followers to bleed the enemy
Snip: He explained how to establish a caliphate: "The first thing to do is be trained ... There's no real need to go and train for tanks and aeroplanes. Where you going to find those? You can't make them yourselves. To be trained of what is available for you ... Every court is a target, every brothel is a target and everybody who's endorsing that is a target ... You have to bleed the enemy whether you work alone or work with a group or you work with your family. Work has to be done. Then after you have done that, obviously you will be on the run."
On "bleeding the enemy," he told his audience: "Like you imagine you have only one small knife and you have a big animal in front of you, the size of the knife you can't slaughter him with this. You have to stab him here and there until he bleeds to death, until he dies ... This is the first needle, this is what the brothers in Algeria now are doing, they are bleeding them. This is the first stage of the jihad."
Snip: Earlier this month, Hayes writes, federal immigration judge Anthony Rogers decided to deport Ahmad Mohammed Barodi, a 41-year-old Arlington, Tex., convenience-store owner. Barodi testified in a January 4-5 hearing that he entered America in 1989 on a phony Syrian passport furnished by the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood (SMB), an Islamic terror group. He admitted to smuggling bogus passports into Saudi Arabia for SMB. According to Justice Department records cited by KTVT, CBSs Dallas station, the SMB sent Barodi to a 21-day guerrilla warfare training camp in Iraq in 1982, with the approval of Saddam Hussein. The document adds: Barodi advised that the Iraqi government provided all of the training aids consisting of RPGs (rocket propelled grenades), firearms and the facility.
Prosecutor's cite Padilla's mujahiden application
Snip: 13 January 2006 - U.S. prosecutors have introduced what they say is an application form American terror suspect Jose Padilla filled out to join al-Qaida. The document was revealed at a bond hearing Thursday in Miami, at which Padilla pleaded not guilty to charges he conspired to commit terror attacks overseas.
Prosecutors say the document was found by the U.S. military after it invaded Afghanistan in 2001. Lawyers said it was found in a locker with similar documents, which they described as "mujahedin data forms." They said the form contained Padilla's birth date and his adopted Muslim name, adding that a government witness has verified its authenticity.
Just like those 3rd world islands the cruise ships take us to with the beautiful beaches while the interior homes have bars over all windows --- we're trying to keep ourselves in a fortress while lawbreaking lawless illegals, gangbangers and thugs roam around just outside (and sometimes within) our current areas of "safety."
Good find.
