Would you feel bad when people curse you and tell you to go to Nambla website?
The difference is I didn't cry and run to mommy like them.
Good news bump!
I don't think that any conservative (Let alone human being) is perfect and we don't claim to be. We would set ourselves up for failure. We all have a weakness.
Bill O'Reilly is no conservative.
He's a liberal lackey playing a conseravtive on T.V.
File under liberal bias: As I drove home for work today my car radio was tuned to Newsradio610 Miami. This is the station that carries Rush from 12N to 3PM. The 4:30 news bump was that Rush's prosecutors had won half of their plea by allowing the doctor's to by sub-poenaed. Of course the fair and balanced (Sarc/off) news desk at 610 AM couldn't help themselves not to spin the truth. Now reading this thread it seems the prosecution won a meaningless battle, only to lose the war.
So he was out on Monday to go to court, and was out today with a hangover from celebrating!?!?!
Sounds like you've got yourself in a personal and political dilemma, my friend.
By insisting on perfection, the only person you can possibly accept as a "Republican" spokesman is Jesus Christ.
And judging by your self agrandisment, I'm not even sure he will do since Jesus, I do believe, is a registered Independent.

I am late to this thread, but read through it. I can understand being disappointed in Rush, I was too. However, I don't see any good coming from making him out to be some horrible hypocrit.
Rush had a problem, a failure, if you will, he did not handle his problem admirably. But, having said that, he also took responsibility for it, went to rehab, and even said that his perspective changed after being in treatment. He also said that at the time he made the statements about drug dealers, etc, he meant it. It was not during the time that he himself had a problem. Things change in peoples lives. That does not make them hypocrits.
I would hope that we could give Rush the room to be human and make mistakes. It isn't about worship or idolizing him. It's about being grateful that he is well now and is still an unwavering voice for the conservative movement.
Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.
From the beginning it was a leftist witch hunt against Rush. Maybe he can files changes and win!
This is excellent news.
I think that is a good suggestion, perhaps we could all agree to stop the DEA from raiding medical marijuana dispenseries and charging citizens with crimes for drug posession in California, seeing as we have a law that allows it? Further, all of the GOP talking heads need to quit pontificating on morality and why it is important to maintain the WOD, whilst abusing drugs, gambling, taking bribes, drinking, carousing, partying, etc.
I for one, am sick of being told that drinking, gambling, and smoking pot are character flaws and should be eliminated, through incarcaration if necessary, while they are sauced, gaming, and passing the bong around.
Yep, Palm Beach democrats...er, officials...need to be taught a lesson.
Please realize that "Prosecutors seized Limbaugh's records after learning that he received about two thousand painkillers prescribed by four doctors in six months"
Do the math, it works out to about 11 pills a day. 2 pills every four hours would be 12 pills a day, which is normal prescribed usage.
Regardless of how many doctors were involved, he wasn't over standard usage (unless you believe the blackmailing maid's story).
The prosecutor has leaked bogus information repeatedly that is immediately mis-represented in the press. This is a non-story about a non-crime mercilessy prosecuted in the courts of public opinion by a leftist press.
IMPOSSIBLE - He's a 'rat.
