YORK, Pa. A high school English teacher had sex with a 17-year-old student several times this fall, according to police who have charged her with corruption of a minor and giving him alcohol.
Robin L. Winkis, 29, had sex with the boy five times, in her home and in her car, during October and November, according to charging documents. The York woman was free on bail following her arraignment on Monday.
Her lawyer, Terrence McGowan, said Winkis was informed by the school district on Friday that it would pursue firing her. She was suspended with pay when the investigation began, but the district stopped paying her after charges were filed, he said.
McGowan declined comment on the charges.
Police said the Central York High School teacher contacted the student repeatedly via e-mail, cell phone text messages and instant messages.
He and his family are getting the help they need to deal with this stressful situation, York Police Detective Dana Ward said.
School officials said Winkis has taught in the Central York district for five years and has been the girls varsity soccer coach for three years.
As a condition of bail, she may not contact the alleged victim or his family, and may not have unsupervised contact with any minors.
;-)
It was.
And it was in seriousness at the time.
Ring under the right as well as left eye is a pretty bad broken nose. Maybe the kiddie was an escape from an abusive hubby.
HOT?
Have u seen most of these women
Could be.
Seen some teachers who got knocked about pretty hard at home.
Nobody spoke about it at the time.
Is a possibility though.
There is nothing hornier than a young, teen age boy and they will do anything for sex.
Ask any male on Free Republic.
Don't go into the 'lyte, Darkie!
And now I have that scene from The Simpsons where they spoof the Twilight Zone and Homer is in this weirdo dimension.
They tell him to head towards the light, and he says...
"Umm.. okay... *Bzzzzzt!* Yiiii!"
I probably should head off to bed now..
Ummmm... apparently not.
At least I haven't made you laugh and douse your keyboard.
I already did that twice earlier...
*chuckle*
Stupid people neve learn
Average people learn from their mistakes.
Smart people learn from the mistakes of others.
With as many of these cases as have been in the news over the last few years, guess into which group this brainiac falls.
Obviously a diabolical DU troll trying to disable our good, staunch Republican keyboards.
LOL!
No, I made someone else caffinate their keyboard as I said something totally ff the wall.
Thankfully, I now have a spillproof keyboard due to having caffinated my own keyboard a few times before it finally died.
But the new keyboard is still stiff on some keys, and others bounce when hit, giving you two letters where you only need one.
I've caffinated mine several times(and my screen once too.)
Now I just finish my drinks before I read FR. :)
LOL, best was the keyboard soda rinse.
Actually unstuck a few keys that had been sticky...
Okay, my beer is gone now... I think I'd better just go ahead and crash. 'night.
Okers.
Have a good evening.
I'm drawin a blank. And I can't recall any hot teachers in high school either. :)
Just recently, she lost her job for exactly the same thing; it only took them 23 years to catch her.
What kind of high school guy is gonna want to do a teacher in their mid-40's to around 50??
Full Disclosure: Yuck.
I've been keeping a list. Seems none have learned from the lessons of others!
