Felipe SantosMesquita, an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon gunner with 2nd Squad, 3rd Platoon, Company E, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, gives candy to a child while on patrol in Fallujah, Nov. 2. The 22-year-old Belo Horizonte, Brazil native moved to the United States nine years ago and currently hails from Edison, New Jersey. He is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
