Iron City and Ballantine were the easiest for us to get, and pretty good.

Pittsburgh Brewing survived the imprisonment of two former owners: Australian tycoon Alan Bond and Michael Carlow, a Uniontown native who was thrown out in 1995 after he was accused of a $31.3 million check-kiting scheme against PNC Bank.

Easy to get is good. A determining factor for many things during my misspent youth.

Iron City is the single nastiest beer I've ever tasted. It makes PBR look like Chateau d'Yquem.

When you’re about 10 or 11 years old, your taste isn’t all that discriminating yet – but Iron City isn’t all that bad. Ever drink Pearl or Lucky Lager?

I kinda like the "Beer in a Brake Fluid Can" look. Probably a close match in taste as well...
