OIF really really makes terrorists mad. They hate it. Osama bin Laden (if he's still alive), Zarqawi, Zawahiri all wake up in the morning ticked off about Iraq, and they goes to bed at night thinking about Iraq. It drives them nuts. It has the same effect on DemocRATS. Hmmmm.

It's very simple, we will no longer allow any country to verbally or physically threaten the US again without retribution. Saddam verbally declared war on the US at least 3 times during the Clinton Administration and continually fired rockets and missiles at our Military Planes performing lawful acts as declared by the UN. Saddam started the war and we will finish it.

We don't have to ask anyone's permission to use their airspace when we bomb the crap out of Iran.

In the War On Terror, being able to move our troops at will across the whole of Afghanistan and Iraq is vital for this President, and the next.

I remember when President Bush invited all the islamofascists to come on over to Iraq and fight our military. The Left screeched and so he did not say it again, but he meant what he said. We are there to draw them in - capture, kill and infiltrate and weaken terrorist groups.

We have killed and captured a lot of Islamofascists who trained to kill us here in the US. We have gotten an inside look into the terrorism organization and mentality that is useful in tracking and defeating them. We have gained intelligence on who is who in the terrorist organizations. We broke up the status quo where the terrorists were getting stronger and more disruptive to the US, Middle East and Europe.

No one mentions that the discussion of WMD was for the hears and purposes of the UN. Americans have many other reasons for going into Iraq that were not advertised at the time we entered the war. We did not go there only for WMD. We are there to draw in and kill terrorists and break up their operations and money lines and identify their agents in Europe and the US.

Why Bush permits the story to be told that we are there to give Iraqis democracy, I don't know. Why he lets the Democrats claim we are there for WMD only, I don't know! If we can give Iraq democracy, fine. But really were are there to fight the terrorism that threatens us.

Iraq has been a secular state for many years. It is a state in the Middle East where a western-style democracy is most likely to succeed.

Syrian influence is now outflanked all around by US allies, Turkey, Iraq and Israel.

If we can get Iraq settled down and its oil fields into production, our dependence on Saudi Arabia will go down and conseuently we can pressure them to take action against their radical imams better.

Splitting the Muslim world into with a democratic wedge through its center (Turkey, Iraq, Israel)is a great outcome geopolitically.

Uday and Quasy Hussein won't be threatening the world with nuclear weapons
or running Iraqi citizens through torture rooms.

Saddam would eventually have beaten the sanctions and re-armed. This prevented that. He was a charter member of the state sponsor of terrorism club and now he is gone. Any potential alliance between Saddam and terrorist groups targeting the West has been eliminated and a source of training, funding and arms for terrorists has been eliminated.

We now have a military presence in the center of gravity in the area of the world that breeds terrorism.

We were able to quickly withdraw from Saudi Arabia.

We have Iran bracketted.

There is the future potential for representative government in the Middle East--democracies are rarely aggressive toward neighbors.

Syria can forget about anything nasty with the US climbing all over its back--another state sponsor of terror in a jam.

Those are the ones I can come up with off the top of my head...
