I have ALWAYS been a HUGE fan of McCain-Feingold and proudly helped enact that bill, and freepers give me a free pass on that because I give folksy southern pro-Bush speeches. I suggest Senator McCain move to Texas, put a "D" next to his name, give folksy anti-Democrat speeches, and call himself a "conservative Democrat". Then folks won't CARE about his position on campaign finance reform, hate crimes, or anything else! They'll beat down the door to endorse him for President! Hell, worked for me!"
