San Diego County.

The captors have demanded that which they know will not be given. So, if the captors are real, death is coming.
If they are fake, the captured will be released.

A return to the Middle East's former glory of past centuries, probably.
To which the left would probably say "OK."

This whole fiasco reminds me of nothing so much as the dweeb releasing the dove at the meeting of the aliens in "Mars Invasion."
It also opens up a discussion I would have assumed closed: to wit, there really may be people who are too stupid to live. We will find out shortly, apparently.

Like in....California?
I'd never heard of a shad before moving here.

Can you say "publicity stunt"? I knew you could. Lefty "peace activists" get publicity for their anti-US group and the terrorists get a pay day to buy more bombs to blow up our Marines. It's a win-win for the America-haters. I say: call their bluff.

You forgot to include the demons chanting their
"Alauah Ahkbar!"
"Alauah Ahkbar!"
"Alauah Ahkbar!"
"Alauah Ahkbar!"
"Alauah Ahkbar!"
while the heads are BEING SAWED OFF.

I wonder how the peace movement will be affected if these people are executed in the customary way on camera. It will be "all Bush's fault", of course. That's their answer to everything. If we weren't in Iraq, they wouldn't have been there, either, or so the story will go. It will not matter if, or how, these peace workers are executed. This will be just more fodder for their demonstrations.
These people are SO predictable!

Hey, thanks for the reminder! I've been meaning to do this and I'm never around a computer when I think about it.

Evidently, you and 'melas' don't recognize extreme sarcasm when you read it. It sounded to me that the poster was using sarcasm to fend off feckless observations made by some 'faint of heart' posters, who are more worried about what other people will think, if they dare to 'stray off the reservation'.
In this time of war, there is no room for the spineless , equivocators or appeasers.
To: DCBryan1
I simply cannot believe that we can't find four former American war heroes to offer to take the place of these unfortunates. You know, someone in the twilight of their careers, and just dying to do the right thing? The names Murtha, Kerry, and McCain come immediately to mind. Who can think of a fourth?

They know, full well, what animals we are dealing with...but they want everyone to see the President as the greater evil.
To: DCBryan1
With their opposition to our war effort, these 'activists' have undermined our troops on the ground and by providing aid and comfort to the enemy, they have to accept responsibility for some of the troops casualties. No sympathy for them here. I don't care what happens to them.

They're Christian peace activists so they'll in all liklihood be killed no matter what. I don't think anything short of a rescue is going to help them.If they hadn't claimed to be Christian aid workers, and admitted they were left wing peace activists there to start trouble, they wouldn't have been allowed in Iraq.
Just because they say they are Christians doesn't mean they are. They're siding with blood thirsty killers who behead the innocent just for fun. Remember, by their fruits ye will know them.
