Lets see, with two miles I have Wal Mart, Target, Fred Meyer, Kohl's, Macy's, Norstroms, and several smaller businesses.
The populist/socialist retards who whine about Wal Mart are the same folks who whined about Woolworth become a "monopoly" and Sears, and Kmart, etc...

Why are the fancy department stores, closing / consolidating, I believe the old Hudson's was just sold again, are you blaming Walmart for their demise?
You must be if you see WalMart as an emerging monopoly in retail.

Wal Mart is not a monopoly. It does exactly what KMart, Target, Woolworth, etc. have been doing for decades. It just found a way to do it for less money.
Sorry. If you don't like it, let's elect some Marxists and replace the stars and stripes with a hammer and sickle.
