But, he's RIGHT.

President Bush keeps pushing a failed idea (amnesty, any way you look at it) that won't fly with most Americans. Every time he speaks about immigration, he encourages people to flood our borders.

I take it you're in favor of illegal immigration and unprotected borders?

Is W doing what you want about this? If the answer is yes you might want to consider changing parties.

Not sure I agree with your assessment. I, too, think the President is pussyfooting around this issue and wish he would do what needs to be done.

I heard two things yesterday (can't recall if it was radio or on Fox) that caught my attention; "Hardened borders" and that a majority of Mexicans believe it's their right to come into America (illegally?). The former I need to think about but I'm not opposed to it right off the bat. The latter I can't decide if it surprises me or not.

And where is the Hispanic leadership on the issue of illegal immigration? I would think that those that went through the process of legal immigration would take issue with what's going on.

Obviously I need to put this issue higher on my "homework" list.

I guess these folks expect the dog catchers to get out there and round up 13 million people with their nets and trucks and haul them out of "their" country.
What a simple idea. Problem is it will never happen. Something needs to be done to track these workers WHO HAVE BEEN HERE FOR YEARS and Bush is trying to do that. The reason even Reagan chose amnesty at one point ought to point out to people the great difficulty in this issue.
Again another republican divider. "Do as I say or else" kinda thinking. No wonder we are considered intolerant and hateful.
I suggest those of you so comfortable in your American homes might consider what it would be like not to be so LUCKY to be born to this country and desire freedom. And the sanctimony of those crying "do it legally" is very easy to say.
I am sick of you "conservatives" sometimes.

Yeah we will until Bush gets it right.

If you don't care about the security of your family, shut up and get out of the way of those who do.

Or could it be you are just one of the many "Business Owners" that populate these threads that insist on putting money and greed over the Security of our nation?

Minnesota ? No wonder you dont care about illegals your obviously insulated by all your white bread up there. What is the crime rate in Minn? Im sure the big story of the year is how somebody hit a Moose huh? Here in Tucson we have murders everyday 90% are committed by illegals and/or related to illegals.

Before you start pounding on Boortz perhaps you ought to quit acting like a bushbot brown nose ass kissing RINO and realize Bush is a do-nothing all talk phony.

Remind me to tell you that next time a liberal does something you don't like.

Good luck marginalizing us - those who want the border controlled are the now majority.

He is NOT doing what I WANT! eighty percent of the American people want but IS doing what the international socialists want.

He is NOT doing what I WANT! is his constitutional duty.

He is NOT doing what I WANT! what is necessary to preserve the Union.

He is NOT doing what I WANT! is necessary to defend the American culture.

If it's the 10,000th verse of the same song (not doing what the conservative base who elected and re-elected him want him to do) perhaps he is betraying conservatism domestically.

The liberals who criticize why it's taking so long to finish Iraq and demand a pullout then do not vote for that pullout are whining.

This article and those who disagree with the President is not a whining but a redress of grievances.

How come nobody discusses the contra perspective, which is why don't we just annex Mexico? This is probably the long-term play - the US will be 25% Hispanic within a few generations, and they will have the political muscle to pull it off.

If Hispanic-Americans are like every previous immigrant group, they won't want their own Aztlan. The dream is to visit the homeland as a big-time success; what better way to achieve payback against the corrupt Mexican government than by taking it over?

A Mexico operated under US rule-of-law that protects capital investment would make the Louisiana Purchase look like peanuts. Instead of Wal-Marts being built by Mexicans in Pennsylvania, there would be Wal-Marts being built by Mexicans in Baja - with millions of Americans grabbing their slice of virgin Pacific coast for a fraction of what it costs in Calif.

Same song 10,000th verse.,

I think you mean that the bootlicker corner is waving the pom-poms for the 10,000th time. Keep cheering, you might be able to drown out the demands that the President enforce the law without trying to pass another amnesty.
