"Question NO one will answer. HOw come Rassmussen shows him at 46%? The same pollster who nailed the 2004 race now gets ignored by "Conservatives" who cling to the illusions presented in the Dinasour Media?"

Good call. Think about it for a moment. After watching a little bit of the round table discussion on MTP with fat Timmy...you got the impression that they are hoping ( and espesially David Gregory) that Murtha somehow changed the debate on Iraq. So what? Why does that matter...I'll tell you why...they see Bush's #'s going back up because they know they can't offer anything positive and the public is tiring of the ankle biting.

Polls are strange creatures...

Fist of all, polls tell you more about those doing the polling most of the time than they do of those polled...

I would love to see a poll with questions like:

Do you think Bin Laden would like to see the US withdraw our troops from Iraq immediately?

Do you think the Sunni's would like to see the US withdraw our troops from Iraq immediately?

Do you think that all the terrorists really want is a Democrat in the White House?

Do you think the terrorists would stop committing terror acts if we impeached Bush?

Do you think people of all nations should be able to enter the US at any time they like through the Mexican borders?

just a few......

I also think that Bush's approval numbers are going up because of the action the House took last Friday. Although it was not Bush's doing.....(bwahahah- just Rove) it helped to re-energize the base.
