unify behind the troops building support for their efforts. It really angers me when I see our side go wobbly during the talking head shows.

And how does hyper ventilating about Dinosaur Media polls "help" the troops. I would be spending a LOT more time pointing out how the 403-3 US House vote shows the "Anti-War" geeks in the Dinosaur Media are not nearly as all powerful as you and Reagan Man spend all day arguing. IF the Dinosaurs Media was the all powerful force you all have been arguing at least 150-175 safe Democrat seats should of voted FOR that Amendment just as a way of showing "how Bush is weakened by Iraq".

Not even the SAFE seat Democrats dared to vote for it. That is REALITY as opposed to the illusion in the manipulated polling data I pointed out to you all day. But that's right you "Conservatives" "help" the troops by endlessly echoing the Dinosaur Media propaganda lines instead of helping the WH get the truth out about Iraq.

You have a point, but that is the House, which is more in touch with constituents than the Senate. The Senate showed their true colors by voting on that ridiculous Warner amendment, which, if I remember, you were exptremely angry about.

Here is the problem with the polls, which I think are bogus. The ability to trumpet those polls gives the democrats a talking point with which they can convince the mushy undecideds about where to place their support. This is also known as the lemming response. Without a counter to the poll talk, we are letting the democrats spout off like they have some sort of invisible majority (which they don't).

I want the media to cover the troops and the success of the war. They won't do it as long as they can put on a few mush-mouth senators who are cowed by the polls and have an ax to grind with the President.

I want the President to get the credit for his efforts NOW, not when they are watching the caisson roll down Pennsylvania Avenue 30 years from now. With all that he has dealt with over the last 5 years, I believe he is entitled to some public praise, and unless we figure out how to get the press to let up, we aren't going to see it.

No one is saying we have to believe the Rats. Most of us don't really believe the polls. We are concerned about the people who DO believe them, because all they see are a few TV stories.
