The dark I rode was a 900(I think). It's been about a year and a half. The guy had it sitting in a garage for a couple of years and couldn't get it started. We pulled the motor and put all new gaskets etc in it, cleaned the carbs(mikunis), and then just tuned the snot out of it. I kept it long enough to burn 3tanks of gas through to make sure it was running well. It was by far the best handling bike I have ever ridden. Any of these guys who want to talk about race bikes are in for a rude suprise when the naked bikes out handle and perform them all day long.
One reason I went for this one because it had fuel injection. I live at 7500' and have had some hideous experiences with carbs on bikes under 1000cc.
I'd like to think there's no uncool bikes, just uncool bikers.
