Bush should have been saying what you just wrote, on a daily basis, until the American public could recite it from memory

And just who does the Whine All the Time Choir think is going to echo those words to the American people. Even the "Conservative" pundits spend most their time regurgitating DNC Talking Points. Doesn't do any good for Bush to go out and give a stellar speech, like he did today, only to hear all the supposedly "Conservative" pundits spend all their time whining about "Bush's lousy PR". The fact of the matter is the whiners in the Conservative movement spend all their time complaining about OUR side instead of DOING. Sorry but just WHINEING bout a problem does NOT excuse the Conservative from having to DO things too.

It's just the politicians that rot.

Using my my best "fake" liberal voice, "Who is to blame"?

So political seniority and personal gain to a politician, in your mind, shouldn't be the major drive in decision making for a lawmaker?

"I have no artistic talents, but I sure would like to see a cartoon of "The Acme Vote Bomb" blowing up these "Wylie Coyote" Democrats. But, unlike Wylie Coyote, I want them to stay dead."

That sounds like something Mia might do. It's a good image of what we observed last night!

"Time to say it like it is."

Thanks for the compilation, Jeff. I'm hoping we continue to engage the enemy like we did last night.

lol, CNN couldn't bring themselves to do live coverage after the vote -- they were on pre-recorded stuff (larry king live & then anderson cooper from two hours earlier). It was really weird, and soooo transparent!

The power hungry are to blame.

Power is a good thing when it is backed with righteousness, however when it is bagged tightly by an individual or a group then it becomes a demise placed upon mankind.

Based on power corrupting, the most successful of the power hungry tend to have sufficient personality disorders to make them persist toward success when more reputable people would draw the line.

Well said Lady Jag, however why is this so in a free society?

Saddam was horrible...but in numbers he does not begin to compare with the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or Pot Pol. Probably only because of lack of opportunity...but it is the US who had denied him that opportunity.
