Regarding Senator John Kerry's comments this morning (November 19, 2005) on Good Morning America's Weekend edition, where he said of President Bush and the War in Iraq, "What we need is a little more commander-in-chief, and a little less campaigner-in-chief,”...let's see, Mr. Kerry, President Bush took us to war in Iraq as the Commander in Chief. In the midst of that war, he defeated you in a presidential election where this very issue was the principle part of the deabte...and he defeated you with the largest voter turnout in the history of this country, by a clear majority. In that time and since, our military and diplomats, under his command and leadership, have:
No, Mr. Kerry, your lame attempts to paint this historical mission and tremendous victory in negative terms and throw that negativity on the very leader who had the foresight and the commitment, in the face of abject corrupt opposition abroad and here at home, do not "carry" (or should that be "Kerry") any weight of moral certitude whatsoever. These attempts by yourself and others to try and use your political position to influence us to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory and, "cut and run", are nothing Moore than odorous political gas passing in the wind.
- Completed the fastest, most effective military advance in military history.
- Defeated the 4th or 5th largest military in the world in quick fashion.
- Freed 30 million people from abject tyranny.
- Deposed one of the most ruthless tyrants of the last fifty years, along with his Ba'athist party.
- Destroyed all attempts by the remaining Ba'athists and their terrorist allies to regain the upper hand, killing the tyrant's two sons and capturing him in the process.
- Secured the vast majority of the nation and handed sovereignty back to the Iraqi people on schedule.
- Held the 2nd largest, freest vote in Iraqi history to vote on their own interim government, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Had the interim Iraqi government develop and introduce a republican constitution on schedule, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Held the largest free vote in Iraqi history to approve the constitution that the interim government proposed, with even the Sunni minority now participating in that vote, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Assisted the Iraqis themselves in putting the former tyrant on trial for his crimes.
- Are preparing for what will undoubtedly be the new largest vote in Iraqi history to elect their own government under their new constitution, again, in the face of and despite terrorist attempts to thwart and disrupt that process.
- Trained an Iraqi military that is now actively taking major support and lead roles in fighting for their own free nation against their terrorist enemies, losing many more of their own lives, and spilling more of their own blood in that process than our own soldiers.
The greatest failing that I see in George W. Bush is that he is far from being a "Great Communicator".
Bush should have been saying what you just wrote, on a daily basis, until the American public could recite it from memory.
they'd rather LIE to the dumb-bunny public.
it's called BREAD & CIRCUSES!

That is correct. And one must be psychotic to be successful at it. No kidding. No conscience.
and totally RUTHLESS as well.

Excellent! And what about Democrat sex? Manipulations, fabrications, payola, blackmail, and fraud, to be finished by being charged but not convicted by a spineless jury of its peers.
Yeah, I don't understand it, either, but I'm not a Democrat.
And some of them are missing the most important part of their wardrobe...
i'll volunteer to transport all of them, if the gov't will convict/sentence them for their crimes against LIBERTY (ex-SDUSM here).
i've said for a LONG time that we should:
1.cut all the Potomac bridges in the middle & float DC out into the atlantic to be an island
2. convert Wash,DC into a penal colony
3. 535 of the WORST criminals in the country are already there.

Didn't see those movies, I saw a couple TV commercials when it was out. Why do people like those movies, because it helps them feel smarter?
They are scam artists and thieves. Taxation is robbery. Campaigning on a "rob from the rich, give to the poor lie" is a scam.
It's almost like "Democrat" has become "Devil" and "Rebublican" has become "Righteous".
I couldn't believe this came from ABCNews.com
Too bad.
It is just the John Kerry PR piece that is there.
I hate the MSM.
After that's done, install 535 people, randomly selected from phone books! You and me first.
It's true the Democrat's have achieved their directive from "the Devil" and the Republicans are in a quandary as to contemplating how to react to such a revelation.
Terrific article. Wish we could send it to every member of Congress and to all the news mdias including Rush. It deserves a broad audience.
Thank you, Jeff for this excellent effort.
I take comfort in not being alone. ; )
Honesty based upon confused political savvy may turn out to be the best scenario for all of us.
Americans are great. It's just the politicians that rot.
Jeff,
Bravo!
Well chosen, truthful words defeat lies every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
It helps them to cope with their decision to be politically liberal.
