When all was said and done last night Murtha Voted NAY!
This was a ploy by the Dem's now they have to put up or SHUT-UP!
It took Sen Sam Johnson to set the record not to pull out.
He was in the Air force 29 years he was a POW . That was the deciding vote Hooray for Johnson!

The NY Times account of last night's debate & vote didn't mention Sam Johnson. The WaPo did.

I was really proud of Johnson, when he spoke the house grew deathly silent. Almost NO background noise, did you notice?
Makes me want to get out of Vermont and move down to live with those Texians!

in all the heat and fury and emotion, closing with Johnson was brilliant. he brought tears to my eyes. a very proud night for Republicans and Johnson in particular.
