GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
Yeah well I can dream anyway.
We win!
It blew my mind!
I was kind of shocked to find McCain on Letterman tonight.
Hey the Republicans went to OZ and got a brain. Let us hope they keep it up.
Yeah...I think Nancy may be reacting to the negative press her city has gotten for voting to keep military recruiters out of the schools...
11:45 PST
Kinda late, I know, but only a couple hours from now.
I'm sure during the President's speech to the troops tonight he'll mention the unamious resolution supporting their continued efforts in Iraq....hehe.
Might as well slap the democrats around for fun.
Hard to be the party "against the war" when you have voted for it three times now....
I sometimes worry where the dims would take us if in power, then I realize that their leadership actually lacks the courage of their convictions. Sure, they'll say crazy things, but that's just a ploy to get donations from moveon.org.
Once again, the Democrat party was against the war, before they were for it.
You know, most of the Reps don't seem to orators.
Of course, the Senators talk too much.
I thought J.C. Watts gave the best speech ever during the Impeachment Trial...boy, we miss him in the house.
"Stand and be counted"
Speaking of "standing" - I nearly fell over laughing when Hunter asked for 3 more minutes for Sam Johnson and some democrats objected - and when the speaker asked for the democrats to stand to voice the objection - they refused.
The democrats are even cowards in the halls of the House.
The good news is despite the rats liberal media lalies, they got beat badly on this and all of America knows or will know soon.
65,535 is the post limit on a thread.
One of the Never Ending Story threads got there, the Hobbit Hole, and one of the Undead Threads.
But forum performance suffers when a thread gets up to around 30k posts and the mods have to edit something.
All of thnis debate has annoyed me so I decided to look at the USMC website. I found this and think it's worth a read:
There are some good reads on the "opinion" page over there.
I think we should all take the time to write to our soldiers and say thank you. I went to the site to see if I could find a link to an address to mail or a place to even e-mail a letter. I think we need "Operation THANK YOU" especially with Thanksgiving coming up next week.
How many see the Headline on Drudge and think it means Troop Pullout wins??
Good! J.D. and the Reps all deserve huge praise. I feel like calling them all, certainly sending letters of thanks. May make that a goal to achieve the next few weeks.
And that said, it's time to say goodnight and sleep tight to all, but especially TexasCowboy.
Rest in Peace.
Won a good fight tonight.
McCain has been all over the television the last few weeks. Every time I turn on a news/talk show; there's his mug.
Greta even took a few minutes off her crime stories last night and had him on. Don't know what he was yapping about because I can't bear to watch him pat himself on the back.
But the public isn't going to be fooled by any spin on this vote. This isn't difficult to understand. :-)
Indeed. Hope in the future that the Repubs start using the hammer more often instead of the nerf bat to beat the DUmocrats with their own rhetoric.
LOL, he has a fax waiting for him, doesn't he?
