"Our troops have become the enemy"
We should hang that little slogan around every Democrat running next year.
Murtha has had his fifteen minutes of fame now, serving his role as the "much revered senior statesman Democrat war hero" fop and fool for this week. Now he can climb back into where the other slimey lizards all reside when the media doesn't need them for propaganda purposes.

The two republican yea votes and one present vote switched to nay.

Now that y'all mention Rangel's vote on his draft bill,I remember him doing that.
Thank goodness there was a solid show of support tonight for our troops.
Earlier, someone said that Sean Hannity suggested this resolution. Is that correct? Hooray for Sean if it came from him. He is almost always right on target.

According to newsmax, he did ask for an immediate withdrawal.
"The press is pretending that Rep. John Murtha had been a longtime, staunch supporter of the Iraq war right up until yesterday's "shocking reversal," when the Pennsylvania Democrat abruptly called for an immediate U.S. pull out.
In fact, Murtha began advocating a cut-and-run strategy way back in May 2004 - after U.S. forces had been in Iraq just a little more than a year"

That information should be made pubic to everyone.

1) My tagline says Democrats.
2) Murtha may have been a great Marine but he sucks as a Congressman while the country is at war.
3) The Democratic Congress cut and ran from the Viet Nam War. Because of that ill temperate move millions died at the hand of the Khmer Rouge. Because of that millions of Vietnamese lived in poverty and hopelessness.

Along with Stanley Williams, the confounder of the violent gang known as the "Bloods" who currently sits on death row for multiple murders, how appropriate.
